The European Congress on Digital Pathology

is the biennial reference congress in the area of Digital Pathology, previously a joint event entitled:
European Congress on Telepathology and International Congress on Virtual Microscopy, is now fusing the initiatives into the
European Congress on Digital Pathology, in order to support this tremendeously important on-going revolution in pathology.

This event will take place on the
18-21 June 2014 at the Collège des Bernardins, close to île Saint-Louis, in Paris

This conference is traditionally involving worldwide INDUSTRY, RESEARCH and CLINICS participants:
- Business processes in Pathology: hospital integration, telepathology, e-learning
- Imaging technological advances: WSI, molecular imaging, label free technologies...
- Image analysis, knowledge formalization and modeling

A special issue (entitled "Breakthrough Technologies in Digital Pathology") will be published in CMIG.

Abstracts submission deadline:

January 20, 2014 !!

- Contributors are all invited to submit an abstract (max. 400 words) for consideration for inclusion in the program.
- In addition, contributors who also aim at individually Pubmed indexed articles (DP or CMIG) have to submit an extended abstract
(less than 1500 words + one image + 5 references cited
at http://www.digitalpathology2014.org/_uk/submission.asp

Pre-selected articles will be published in full version:

- either in "Diagnostic Pathology" (editor-in-chief Klaus Kayser, co-chairs Catherine Bor, Philippe Camparo and Myriam Oger)
- or for computer science orientated articles in a special issue (entitled "Breakthrough Technologies in Digital Pathology") of the
"Computerized Medical Imaging and Graphics" Elsevier journal (editor-in-chief Daniel Racoceanu, co-chair Philippe Belhomme)
